Ammar brings a compliance perspective shaped on both sides of the Atlantic. He currently serves as Legal and Compliance Associate at Channel Dynamics in Denver, Colorado, where he ensures adherence to SEC and FINRA regulations, drafts master service agreements and due diligence documentation, and is building the compliance framework for a new subsidiary while overseeing GDPR-aligned data governance.
Before that, at Blackstone Legal in Islamabad, he assisted senior counsel on a PKR 100 million recovery matter against a major national bank, contributing to a successful stay order. He also coordinated Pakistan's first International Job Expo as Project Associate at Legal ID Foundation, working directly with the Prime Minister's Office, the Federal Investigation Agency and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
Ammar earned his LL.B from Bahria University with Cum Laude honours, where he served as President of the Bahria University Law Moot Society, and holds a Diploma in Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts on a full scholarship. He was named Best Attorney in Mock Trials twice and holds certifications in commercial, sports and maritime law, alongside international humanitarian law training completed through the ICRC.
Outside of legal work, Ammar can usually be found behind a camera or on a football pitch, interests that, he'll admit, have taught him almost as much about reading a room as law school did.
