The file work, done while your office sleeps.

Exhibit A. The arithmetic

Most of a lawyer's day never reaches an invoice.

The hours go to chasing records, renaming files and summarizing transcripts. That work has to be done well. It does not have to be done by someone billing at partner rates.

Exhibit B. Schedule of work

The work we take off your desk.

If a task follows a method and needs care rather than a law licence, it probably belongs on this list. Anything that needs legal judgment comes back to your attorney, flagged and ready for a decision.

ItemTaskWhat it looks like in practice
01Legal research and memosCase law and statute research written up as a short memo, with pinpoint citations your attorney can check in minutes.
02Discovery managementOrganizing productions, Bates numbering, privilege logs, and tracking what has been requested, served and still owed.
03Document reviewFirst-pass review and coding against your protocol, with hot documents and privilege questions set aside for attorney review.
04Drafting supportFirst drafts of letters, discovery requests, motions and pleadings, built from your templates and your house style.
05Medical records and chronologiesRecord requests and follow-ups, page indexing, and treatment chronologies that a reader can follow without the binder.
06Deposition and hearing summariesPage-line summaries and topic indexes from transcripts, so the testimony you need is one search away.
07Contract reviewClause extraction, comparison against your playbook, and redlines marked up for attorney sign-off.
08Case and file organizationMatter setup, document naming, task lists and calendaring inside your practice management system.
09Administrative legal workIntake forms, client update drafts, time entry cleanup and the small recurring tasks that fill a Friday afternoon.

Exhibit C. Practice areas

Matched to the kind of law you practice.

A paralegal who understands personal injury files is not the same as one who understands immigration petitions. We match by practice area, not by availability.

Litigation

Support for the slow middle of a case, where deadlines stack up and the documents multiply.

  • First drafts of pleadings, motions and discovery requests
  • Exhibit lists, trial binders and witness files
  • Deposition summaries and testimony indexes
  • Docket and deadline tracking inside your calendar
  • Research memos on procedural and substantive issues

Exhibit D. Docket sheet

From first call to first task in two business days.

No onboarding project and no long contract. Five entries on the docket, and then you decide.

Exhibit F. Why a law firm

A paralegal desk run by attorneys, not a staffing agency.

Most offshore paralegal providers place a person and step back. We are a practising law firm, so the work is checked by people who know what a court or a client will do with it.

Exhibit G. Chain of custody

Your client's file, handled like evidence.

Every engagement follows the same five steps, so you always know who has touched a document and why.

  1. NDA first

Signed before you send anything, including the first sample task.

  2. Access you control

A named login in your own systems. You can see what we open and remove it with one click.

  3. One paralegal per matter

The same person works your files, so knowledge stays in one place.

  4. Attorney review

An HHLegalCo attorney checks the work before it is handed back to you.

  5. Clean exit

When an engagement ends, access is removed and working copies on our side are deleted.

Your professional rules come first.

In the United States, ABA Model Rule 5.3 and ABA Formal Opinion 08-451 allow lawyers to use outsourced support, including overseas, as long as the lawyer stays responsible for the work and protects client confidences. In England and Wales, the SRA Code of Conduct keeps solicitors accountable for work done through people they delegate to.

We build our process around those duties: you set the instructions, you sign off the final product, and nothing goes to a court or a client under our name. We do not claim security certifications we do not hold. If your firm has its own vendor questionnaire, send it over and we will answer it in writing.

Dedicated Monthly

A full-time paralegal for your firm

One paralegal working only on your files during agreed hours, as close to an in-house hire as remote gets.

  • Full working day dedicated to you
  • Priority matching and start
  • Covers more than one practice area
  • Scale up or down month to month

Rates are agreed in writing on the first call, before any paid hour is worked.

Practising on your own?

Solo attorneys feel this most. You are the lawyer, the paralegal and the office manager. Hand us the research, the drafting and the file organization, and keep your evenings for the work that needs you.

Exhibit J. Questions

What firms ask before they start.

If your question is not here, ask it on the call. A straight answer is part of the trial.

After the intro call and the NDA, we work up to 10 hours on real tasks from your files at no charge. You do not give us payment details and you are not signed up for anything. At the end you tell us whether to continue.

In Islamabad, Pakistan, at our office in G-11/3. The paralegal desk is part of HHLegalCo, a practising law firm, not a separate agency or a marketplace of freelancers.

Islamabad is 9 to 10 hours ahead of New York and 4 to 5 hours ahead of London. For US firms, that means tasks sent at the end of your day are worked on during ours. For UK firms, our afternoon overlaps your morning, so you can talk in real time when you need to.

Yes. Firms across Pakistan use us for case law research, first drafts of plaints and petitions, paper books and annexure indexing, and translation between Urdu and English. Billing is in rupees for local firms.

No. Paralegal work supports your attorneys. Your firm gives the instructions, makes the legal calls and signs off everything that goes to a court or a client. Our attorneys review the quality of the work, they do not take over your matter.

Yours. We work in Clio, Filevine, MyCase, PracticePanther and Smokeball, along with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Dropbox. If you use something else, tell us on the call and we will confirm before the trial starts.

An NDA is signed before any document is shared. We work through logins you create and control, one paralegal is assigned per matter, and working copies on our side are deleted when the engagement ends. We will also complete your firm's own vendor or security questionnaire.

Yes. Most firms start part-time, either paying by the hour with no minimum or buying a monthly block of hours at a fixed rate. You can change plans from one month to the next.

Tell us, and we reassign your work to someone better matched, at no extra cost.

Monthly, with a task-by-task breakdown of the hours. Your rate is confirmed in writing before the first paid hour, and payment details are set out in your engagement letter.
